The Hall University School communications class offered during the spring semester is designed to meet the requirements of Communications 1300.  Ms. Sandy Lubin, UALR instructor, taught the course along with Mr. Cliff Langford of Hall.  this year Mr. Langford received an award as outstanding speech and drama teacher in Arkansas.  Ms. Lubin, who teaches other sections of this course at UALR, remarked that she wishes her students on campus were doing as well as our Hall students.  Mr. Langford and Ms. Lubin say they have really enjoyed their team teaching experience.  During the trial run of the communications course, thirteen students enrolled in the course designed to let students function in several communication situations such as small groups, arguments, public speaking, and relationships.  Our students have learned much about their own communication skills in all of these types of speaking situations.
