The University Biology course was team taught by Camille Cress, Hall teacher, and Sharon Baugh from UALR.  Ms. Cress, who came to Hall to be part of the University School program, has taught the biology course at UALR for six years.  Ms. Baugh taught biology at Hall for many years before retiring and moving to UALR where she teaches several courses.  In fact, Ms. Baugh and Ms. Cress had taught together at UALR before team teaching the Hall University School biology course.  University Biology follows the lecture and lab format of the UALR freshman course, Science of Biology.  During the semester, Hall students made several trips to the UALR campus labs so they could get the feel of a college lab setting.  This course provides students the opportunity to see what science is and how scientists work.  Discovery and participation are key components of this class.
