Service Learning is a program offered by Hall in which students actively participate in a choice of thoughtfully-organized service experiences.
Many of the students participating in Service Learning will earn credit for graduation and others will have their hours listed on their transcript. One of the advantages of our block scheduling is that students may leave campus to perform their volunteer work and then return to campus for the remainder of their classes.
Service Learning provides structured time for students to reflect on their service to the community through writing, reading, and speaking.
