Hall High School is one of only three schools in the state accredited with a Cum Laude Society. The major purpose of the Cum Laude Society is to recognize scholastic achievements in schools while simultaneously striving to encourage qualities of excellence, justice, and honor. Members are chosen from the senior class based upon enrollment in a college preparatory curriculum, honor record up to the time of election, and their position in the first fifth of the senior class. This organization is beneficial to Hall because it gives praise to those students worthy of the high honor. Hall is only one of two public high schools in the state, and only one of 26 schools in the nation with a Cum Laude Society.
