Cooperative Office Education (COE) is designed for junior and senior business students interested in gaining practical on-the-job experience by working in an office in the afternoons and receiving school credit.  Each student must work a minimum of 15 hours a week at an entry-level office position obtained by the coordinator of the program.  During the morning, students take their required courses and a COE related class to expose them to skills and duties related to an office occupation.  They acquire a set of appropriate attitudes, rules of conduct and interpersonal skills involving relations with fellow workers, supervisors and clients.

A COE Employer Appreciation Banquet is given at the end of the year to say "thank you" to employers for giving the students the opportunity to earn while they learn at their company.
