The Guidance Department is composed of four full time couselors. Students are assigned to counselors according to the alphabets, and the counselors then follows the student through the four years of high school. The counselors are as followed:

As members of the educational team, Hall High's counselors believe students and their needs are the focus of the educational process. They are, therefore, committed to the philosophy that each student is valuable and is capable of learning. In order for each student to reach his/her potential as a productive citizens, the Guidance Department provides information, support, and counseling to help students reach their goals.
The Guidance Department has over 250 college admission applications and catalogs, as well as information on every branch of the armed forces. There are study guids and practice test for the ACT and SAT. Scholarship applications are available to students with grade point average of 2.5 and higher. Last year Hall High students received over a million dollars in scholarships! The Guidance Department is also responsible for activities suchas: Peer Helpers and Red Ribbon Week.
