Welcome to the Health Sciences program offered by the Little Rock School District at Henderson Health Sciences Magnet Middle School.  The program is noted for its excellence in research, teaching, and service.  Program faculty work in diverse areas and engage in interdisciplinary research activities. Our exciting programs have been created for high achieving students with an interest in pursuing a fast-growing and challenging profession.
Our goal is to provide each and every student with a strong science background that will ensure continued career success.  While you learn the basics, you will also build your skills working in teams, exercising leadership abilities, and advancing written and oral communication skills.  We want our students to have a strong and diverse set of life skills which will benefit them in their chosen field.

The changes in health care over the past 100 years have been vast.  Advances in science and technology have led to cures and treatments that no one would have dreamed possible at the turn of the century. Yet, this evolution is far from complete, and there are still unlimited opportunities for change during these times of fast-paced competition and rapid growth.
